Office Interior Design

To develop quality Office Interior Design, an analysis of the space in question must occur. This is done to establish the amount of space required for both present and future needs.

After a space needs analysis has taken place the planning phase is initiated. Once designers are aware of the dimension specifics they can proceed to the next step and develop a visual plan. Designers aim to utilise the space in the best possible way. The visual plan is then presented to the client, when all parties are happy Zuri’s interior designers proceed to fashion an Office Interior Design specification. This process allows for the documentation of the project’s visual look and resulting feel, confirming that everyone involved in the project is on the same page.

Technical drawings are then produced, detailing all aspects of the project. Everything from the selected finishings and fittings to the placement of fixtures will be covered in the technical drawings.

A conceptual presentation is thereafter delivered to the client. This presentation is made before any construction begins and includes 3-D images which illustrate the design. Recommended fabrics and finishes are presented to clients on sample boards.

Functional and beautiful workspaces are guaranteed through the steadfast support which Zuri offers to customers through all aspects of the Office Interior Design process. Insight, solid recommendations and innovative ideas are presented each step of the way.

Space Needs Analysis

Identifying the client’s current and future space requirements is the point at which a space needs analysis begins. The Zuri team will develop a document that addresses headcount and space allocation, after this is done a model is produced. This model includes the client’s growth rate and possible future needs.

Priority areas are dependent on industry and business type, within an organisation the efficiency of varying areas relate to their function. The experts at Zuri will produce a highly detailed space analysis; this helps our designers when they take on the activity of space planning. The space needs analysis acts as a sound basis for all the stages which follow.

Space Planning

The Zuri design team can start the process of workspace creation once the available space has been clearly defined. For this reason, an incredibly detailed area plan is created, this is done in line with a site survey, departmental block plan and an expertly conducted space needs analysis.

The result is a detailed and all-inclusive space plan, which addresses the best possible layout of the organisation and ensures that all the client’s needs and requirements are met.

Interior Design Specification

Once all parties involved are in agreement, the interior design specification is complete. All decisions are finalised and detailed. This process guarantees that all aspects of the project are run without issues, when everyone is in agreement and knowledgeable about the route which is to be taken as the project proceeds. It is Zuri’s primary aim to delight our clients with the eventual outcome. Clients will, however, never be shocked or surprised by the result.

By making good use of the technical drawings, every element of the project is detailed and a clear reflection of the “scope of works” will now be clearly visible to our clients. The technical drawings aim to guarantee clarity, transparency and full agreement between Zuri and our clients.

Technical Drawings

The technical drawings developed by Zuri detail all aspects of the proposed venture, covering all components required for the project.
The technical drawings involve the conversion of research and development, space planning and specification processes and interior design, into clearly functional drawings. Providing all the participants with the ability to visualise the plan and equipping the experts at Zuri with the knowledge they need to move forward.
Technical drawings cover:
• Layout of Access Control (Optional)
• Layout of Air-conditioning placement(Optional)
• Layout of Ceiling/Lighting
• Layout of Demolition
• Layout of Floor Finishes
• Layout of Furniture
• Layout of Wall Finishes
• Structural Layout
• Voice and Data Layout/Electrical layout
• Others (Audio Visual, Specialised Shop Fitting, etc.)

Technical drawings aim at detailing exact locations, qualities and specifications of each and every aspect necessary for the completion of the upcoming project.

Conceptual Presentation

The conceptual presentation stands out as one of the most exciting parts the process. This is when Zuri’s design team are given the opportunity to display visually, for clients, the intended outcome of the project. During the process of conceptual presentation, clients will gain knowledge on all the available materials and finishes, recommended furniture and design ideas. This is achieved through the presentation of sample boards.

This process allows the Zuri design team to demonstrate their vision and involve the client, providing the opportunity for clients to add input and request adjustment or changes.
